"Cavorting"
The only entry for cavorting is the name of a music album release, though I recall it used in the natural science terminology description for an activity by rabbits / hares(?) running and jumping past one another, (often spraying urine) during mating ritual. Should perhaps this similar behavior be classed a synonym of sorts or is it technically used with distinct difference? Nagelfar (talk) 00:17, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for raising the question. The term cavorting is sometimes used in ethology but with multiple senses, often nothing to do with mating, nor (for the purposes of this article) anything to do with predators. It might be relevant in some other article, perhaps. Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:42, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
