Frankfurt Stock Exchange

The info dates from 2010. This should be updated as I'm not sure what happened in the meantime. --SaraFinale (talk) 14:29, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

vertical integration

The company homepage states that there is a "systematic vertical integration", meaning controlling the supply chain. Vertical integration means ownership of a big number of value creating processes. But as tt does not own any production or raw material production facilities, the term "vertical integrated company" might be misleading. I propose delete. --JohannesFB 11:08, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Content changes

Dear Wikipedia community,

as the official press office for the TOM TAILOR Group, we would like to update the existing Wikipedia article. This means that we want to add or update neutral and confirmed facts. We are always open to questions and comments and always ready for discussion.

Kind regards, TOM TAILOR Group press office — Preceding unsigned comment added by TOM TAILOR GROUP (talkcontribs) 08:09, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

Erika Kirsten at TOM TAILOR Group You are welcome to make suggestions for edits here, if you make them as formal edit requests, they will be seen and acted on by other editors. Please understand that those in your position often have a difficult time participating here, because the goals of a press office and the goals of Wikipedia are fundamentally different. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and as an encyclopedia Wikipedia primarily summarizes what independent reliable sources state about a subject, not what the subject wants to say about itself. I'm not sure what "neutral and confirmed facts" you want to add, but only certain information is acceptable to be sourced from primary sources like press releases, staff interviews, routine announcements and other similar sources. Wikipedia is primarily interested in what sources completely unconnected with your company have chosen on their own to say about it. 331dot (talk) 09:26, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

I've added the edit request template, so this is seen by other editors. 331dot (talk) 11:49, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
Hi Erika Kirsten. Your edit requests are accepted with the exception of the first one. Now, I can't read German, but according to Google Translate, this means "The textile merchant Uwe Schroeder, born in Hamburg in 1941, started his professional career at Henke & Co., which was founded in 1962 in Hamburg by Hans-Henrich Pünjer as an import company. In 1965 he was promoted to business manager, and in 1971 he became a personally liable partner alongside Punjer." The book implies that Pünjer was the true founder and Schroeder only moved up the ranks afterwards. Can you explain this discrepancy from your company's site? Best, Altamel (talk) 15:56, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

Hello Altamel,

Thank you for processing my request. Mr. Hans-Heinrich Puenjer founded the import company and built it up, right from the start, together with Mr. Uwe Schroeder. That is why Mr. Schroeder is considered a co-founder of TOM TAILOR. Please compare the following article of the most important trade newspaper for the textile industry in German-speaking countries with the heading "Tom Tailor: Co-founder Uwe Schröder is retiring".[1] In addition please see sportswear international as an english source, were Mr. Schroeder is called a founder as well.[2] We suggest at least to mention Mr. Puenjer as the founder in the right box to avoid the misinformation "Los Angeles".

Many thanks and Kind regards,
