Minority?

I am surprised that this article put the word "minority" in Cross' lips when he has always been cautious in using this word-- rarely. Rather, he and his colleagues, have consistently used the terms "Black," "Black Americans," and "African Americans," and lately capitalized. Look at this articles from him and his colleagues:

In order to bring this article closer to Cross' works, I will gradually diversify the terms in this article. This means that I will not limit myself to a single term, but use all those that Cross uses. If you think differently, please, let me know here. I am willing to discuss and reach consensus.
