I question why this template does not use File:Coat of arms of the House of Visconti (1277).svg instead of File:Coat of arms of the House of Visconti (1395).svg. The former would have been used for the majority of the Visconti's time ruling Milan as lords, spanning 118 years, whereas the latter was only used for the 52 years (1395-1497) that the Visconti reigned as dukes. Alternately, perhaps both could be used in the template. Using only the version with the imperial crown does not represent the whole of the rule of the Visconti.
