Do we need this for portals?

Regular portal talk pages are quite active, as are some subpages, such as Portal talk:Poland/Poland-related Wikipedia notice board and it's a bit annoying. I suggest portal talks are excluded from this contraption, however this works. Миша13 22:39, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

Agree with the above. In fact it would be nice if it were possible for editors to remove this from particular pages if they are watching them.--Kotniski (talk) 23:00, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

Since for the moment we can't be sure whether any particular page is watched or not (see above thread), please reword the first sentence to something like: "Talk pages in this namespace are typically not watched by many users."--Kotniski (talk) 23:00, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
