Future F1 Seasons
The 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship is a planned motor racing championship for Formula One cars which will be the 74th running of the Formula One World Championship.
F1 Entries
The following constructors and drivers are under contract to compete in the 2023 World Championship.[1] All teams are due to compete with tyres supplied by Pirelli.[2] Each team is due to be required to enter at least two drivers, one for each of the two mandatory cars.

Driver changes
Sebastian Vettel is due to retire at the end of the 2022 championship, ending his Formula One career after 15 seasons.[23] His place at Aston Martin is due to be taken by Fernando Alonso, who will leave Alpine after two seasons.[10] His replacement was announced as the 2021 Formula 2 Champion and reserve driver Oscar Piastri, who would have been due to make his Formula One debut.[8] Shortly after this announcement, Piastri stated that he had not signed a contract for 2023 and that he would not be driving for Alpine.[9]
Daniel Ricciardo is due to leave McLaren after two seasons. He had a contract to drive for the team in 2023, but it was terminated during the 2022 championship by mutual agreement.[24]

Calendar expansion and changes
- The Chinese and Qatar Grands Prix are scheduled to return to the calendar, after last being held in 2019 and 2021, respectively. The Qatar Grand Prix, along with the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, is planned to be moved to a new, purpose-built circuit.[32][42]
- The Las Vegas Grand Prix is due to make its debut, with the race planned to be held in November on a new street track across the Las Vegas Strip. It will be the third Grand Prix in the calendar to be held in the United States.[51]
- The Russian Grand Prix was under contract to feature on the 2023 calendar. It was originally meant to switch its venue from the Sochi Autodrom to Igora Drive, located on the outskirts of Saint Petersburg.[52] However, the Grand Prix had its contract terminated in response to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.[53]
- The French Grand Prix will not feature on the 2023 calendar although the promoters of the Grand Prix stated that they would aim for a rotational race deal by sharing its slot with other Grands Prix.[50]
Future MotoGP Seasons
The 2023 FIM MotoGP World Championship will be the premier class of the 75th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season.

Team changes
- Suzuki will withdraw from the MotoGP class at the end of the 2022 season.[69]
- WithU RNF will switch to Aprilia after a season with Yamaha.[70]
- Tech3 KTM Factory Racing will be rebranded as GasGas Factory Racing.[63] Although using the Gas Gas brand, the team would still be technically using KTM bikes.
Rider changes
- Jack Miller will move to the KTM factory team from the Ducati factory team, replacing Miguel Oliveira.[65] Oliveira will then move to WithU Aprilia RNF MotoGP Team.[55]
- Álex Márquez will move to Gresini Racing MotoGP from LCR Honda, replacing Enea Bastianini.[58] Bastianini will then be promoted to the Ducati factory team, replacing Jack Miller.[56]
- Álex Rins will move to LCR Honda from the now defunct Suzuki MotoGP team.[60]
- Pol Espargaró will move to the newly rebranded GasGas Factory Racing team from the Honda factory team.[63] Joan Mir will then move to Honda factory team from the now defunct Suzuki MotoGP team, replacing Espargaró.[61]
- Raúl Fernández will move to WithU Aprilia RNF MotoGP Team from Tech3 KTM Factory Racing.[55]

The 2023 racing season is expected to consist of at least 20 Grands Prix, but most of the 2023 calendar is still to be confirmed. So far, only the opening event at Grande Prémio Tissot de Portugal[71] and the Monster Energy British Grand Prix[72] have been announced.

MotoGP Calendar changes
- For the first time since 2007, Losail in Qatar will not host the opening round due to "extensive renovation and remodelling to the paddock area and circuit facilities".[71]
