Hi, I'm Beatleswhobeachboys. As you can probably tell, I'm a huge rock music fan, meaning that most of the articles I work on are music-related. I've spent a decent amount working on Wikipedia, as seen here.
Topics I edit
The topics I like to work on are mostly music based:
- The Beatles - My favorite band: I've done general cleanup and expansion on multiple articles and raised "Hello, Goodbye" to GA with JG66
- The Beach Boys - Created and expanded several song pages, such as "Help Me, Rhonda" and "Wake the World"
- The Who - The first articles I did on Wiki were for the Who ("However Much I Booze", "Blue, Red and Grey")
- The Kinks - This is the band I have worked on most on Wiki: I created articles for most of their singles that weren't already made, expanded the ones that did exist, and brought "You Really Got Me", "Lola", and "Come Dancing" to GA-status
- The Cars - Created remaining singles articles; however, there are little sources for their material, so much is still left to do
- The Police - Expanded a great deal of their single pages
- Paul McCartney / Paul McCartney and Wings - Mostly did work on his 1970s work with Wings. Also boosted "Band on the Run" to GA-status, my first GA
As of late, I have been working on material from:
- Elvis Costello and the Attractions - created and expanded pages for many of their singles, such as "Oliver's Army" (brought to GA), "Clubland", "(The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes", "New Lace Sleeves", "Green Shirt", "Accidents Will Happen", "I Hope You're Happy Now", and "Brilliant Mistake"
- Joe Jackson - worked on some of his hits, like "Is She Really Going Out with Him?" (brought to GA), "Sunday Papers", "One More Time", and "I'm the Man"
- The Pretenders - created pages for Pretenders II singles and expanded on their Pretenders work
- Graham Parker and the Rumour - created pages for his Squeezing Out Sparks singles
- Marshall Crenshaw - created pages for his hits "Someday, Someway" and "Whenever You're on My Mind", expanded pages for his albums
- Jethro Tull - expanded songs such as "Locomotive Breath", "Songs from the Wood", and "Bungle in the Jungle"
- Britpop acts like Blur and Pulp; for the latter, expanded most of their song articles
- Alternative rock acts such as Dinosaur Jr. and the Replacements (though sources can be tricky to track down!); also expanded article for the college rock genre

Thanks for expanding Help Me Rhonda. That article was next on my list, along with Let's Go Away for Awhile and Pet Sounds (instrumental). ili (talk) 21:38, 24 July 2022 (UTC) |
