Hi. My name is Rachel (though Beepity is admittedly the snazzier name). I would very much like to say that I am new to Wikipedia, but this account has been in existence for months now. I just forgot my login details ("Wasn't beepity beep the password?").I have never edited a page (except for the occasional vandalism of unnamed selective high school pages), and it remains unlikely that I ever will. Oh, but I am a grammar stickler and will smugly revert any misuse of the words you're, your, their, they're, too, to or two. :)

♦ Reading (Jane Austen novels, The Wind on Fire Trilogy, Harry Potter, Phillip Pullman's Sally Lockhart series and His Dark Materials, Gone with the Wind, Bill Bryson)
♦ A very scattered and unsubstantiated interest in Science (Particle Physics (Quarks, anyone?), Eugenics, Chemistry [occasional])
♦ I am devoted to Food (Chocolate, Cake, Cheese, Ice cream) - Yes, I am unbelievably unhealthy.
♦ A rather halfhearted interest in History (Ancient History, Medieval History)
