About Me

Hey everyone. I'm Lewis Skinner, a medical student at the University of Sheffield. I was born in Worksop (Nottinghamshire) in 1984, but have always seen myself as a Tyke - a citizen of God's own County, with both parents and three grandparents being born in Sheffield in the West Riding of Yorkshire and the other grandparent (my paternal grandfather) born in Killamarsh, Derbyshire. I have lived in North Anston (Yorks), Seaview (Isle of Wight), the Parkhurst neighbourhood of Newport (Isle of Wight), Paderborn (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany), Pitstone (Buckinghamshire) and Sheffield (West Riding of Yorkshire) for uni, in the Ranmoor, Broomhall, Crookes and now Hillsborough districts.

Interests

I am an avid Sheffield United fan, and hold a season ticket in the Kop End.

As I live in Sheffield and know a fair bit about the city and its history, I may regularly be seen in the edit-summaries of Sheffield-related articles, doing a bit of cleaning and tidying, or adding new content.
