On 1 November 2023, it was announced that Charis Pavely had signed her first professional contract with the side.[1] On 23 April 2024, the side announced the signing of Courtney Webb as an overseas player, with her stint beginning in May.[2] On 30 April 2024, it was announced that Ellie Anderson had gone on a month-long loan to Western Storm.[3] Anderson's loan was later extended until 23 July 2024.[4] On 24 May 2024, it was announced that the side had loaned Issy Wong to Western Storm for the duration of the Charlotte Edwards Cup.[5]

Northern Diamonds

On 21 November 2023, it was announced that the side had signed Sophia Turner from North West Thunder. Turner had previously been on loan to the side in September 2023.[6] On 19 December 2023, it was announced that Lizzie Scott had signed her first professional contract with the side, and that Yvonne Graves had left the side.[7] On 10 April 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Erin Burns as an overseas player from the start of the season until the end of July.[8] On 30 April 2024, Maddie Ward was included in a matchday squad for the first time.[9]

North West Thunder

On 21 November 2023, it was announced Sophia Turner had left the side, joining Northern Diamonds. Turner had previously been on loan to Diamonds in September 2023.[10] On 24 November 2023, it was announced that Chris Read would be the side's new Head Coach, replacing Paul Shaw, who stepped down at the end of the previous season.[11] On 6 March 2023, it was announced that Hannah Rainey and Ailsa Lister had signed professional contracts with the side.[12][13] On 11 April 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Katie Mack and Georgia Voll as overseas players for the season, with Mack available during April, May, August and September, and Voll available in May, June and July.[14] On 19 April 2024, it was announced that Daisy Mullan had gone on loan to The Blaze for the opening six rounds of the 2024 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.[15] On 23 April 2024, it was announced that Danielle Collins and Olivia Bell had signed their first professional contracts with the side.[16] On 30 April 2024, Grace Johnson was included in a matchday squad for the first time.[17]

South East Stars

On 18 October 2023, it was announced that Chloe Hill was joining the side on a permanent basis from Southern Vipers, having been on loan to South East Stars for parts of the 2023 season.[18] On 6 December 2023, it was announced that Freya Davies had left the side, joining Southern Vipers.[19] On 26 January 2024, it was announced that South East Stars had signed Tazmin Brits as an overseas player from April to July 2024. Brits had previously played for the side in 2023.[20] On 5 April 2024, it was announced that Matilda Corteen-Coleman had been added to the squad on a Pay As You Play contract.[21] On 14 April 2024, Brits was ruled out of her stint with the side due to injury.[22] On 10 May 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Georgia Redmayne as an overseas player, for the latter stages of the Charlotte Edwards Cup and four matches in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

Southern Vipers

Sunrisers

On 2 October 2023, it was announced that Ariana Dowse had signed her first professional contract with the side.[28] On 20 December 2023, it was announced that Scarlett Hughes had left the side, joining The Blaze.[29] On 23 February 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Dane van Niekerk as an overseas player from the beginning of the Charlotte Edwards Cup. van Niekerk had previously played for the side during the 2023 season.[30] On 4 April 2024, Sunrisers confirmed their squad for the season, with Charley Phillips joining the full squad from the Academy and Mia Rogers departing the side.[31] It was also confirmed on the same day that Grace Scrivens would captain the side in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, with van Niekerk captaining in the Charlotte Edwards Cup.[31] On 12 April 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Nicola Hancock as an overseas player for the first six matches of the season.[32] On 10 May 2024, it was announced that van Niekerk would no longer be joining for the Charlotte Edwards Cup, instead only playing Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy matches from the end of June. Nicola Hancock's contract was therefore extended to cover the Charlotte Edwards Cup.[33] On 22 May 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Sophie Munro on loan from The Blaze for the Charlotte Edwards Cup.[34]

The Blaze

On 20 December 2023, it was announced that The Blaze had signed Scarlett Hughes from Sunrisers.[35] On 11 January 2024, it was announced that The Blaze had signed Nadine de Klerk as an overseas player for the entire 2024 season. de Klerk had previously played for the side in 2023.[36] On 17 April 2024, the side announced the signing of Heather Graham as an overseas replacement for de Klerk in June and July.[37] On 19 April 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Daisy Mullan on loan from North West Thunder for the opening six rounds of the 2024 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.[38] On the same day, Bethan Gammon and Prisha Thanawala were included in a matchday squad for the first time.[39] On 26 April 2024, Bella Howarth was named in a matchday squad for the first time.[40] On 30 April 2024, Brianna Ray was named in a matchday squad for the first time.[41] 22 May 2024, it was announced that the side had loaned out Sophie Munro to Sunrisers for the Charlotte Edwards Cup.[42] On 18 June 2024, Rhiannon Knowling-Davies was included in a matchday squad for the first time.[43]

Western Storm

On 3 October 2023, it was announced that Mollie Robbins had signed her first professional contract with the side.[44] On 28 March 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Amanda-Jade Wellington as an overseas player for the entire season.[45] On 17 April 2024, it was announced that Lola Harris, Emily Geach and Imogen Cooper had been added to the squad, with Isobel Patel, Rebecca Odgers, Isla Thomson and Nicole Harvey not retained in the squad.[46][47] On 30 April 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Ellie Anderson on a month-long loan from Central Sparks.[48] Anderson's loan was later extended until 23 July 2024.[49] On 24 May 2024, it was announced that the side had signed Issy Wong on loan from Central Sparks for the duration of the Charlotte Edwards Cup.[50]
