Stop moving pages

Stop moving pages at random. All these changes are being reverted. Please build a consensus on teh talk pages first, then move to a name consistent with the Manual of Style and Naming Conventions only if your change is supported. Rmhermen 02:32, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Please read the manual of style, paticuarly the section on naming conventions. All the pages you have moved over the past few days have been contray to standard practice and so the move has been reverted. In future, please try and gain consensus for moves such as these on the talk page, announce what you would like to do and see if other editors agree with you (give it a week or two for a low traffic article). Wikipedia has clear procedures on moving pages. Other than in exceptional circumstances all pages should be moved by following the instructions on the Requested Moves page. Unilateral moves can trigger edit wars, break links and cause a lot of problems. Please stop unilaterally moving pages, as you did with Witch-king of Angmar, and follow the correct procedure. --Kusunose 15:45, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Please stop unilaterally moving pages

Your move from Cannabis (drug) to Marijuana (drug) has been reverted. Please stop making page moves against consensus. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 19:33, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Please note that if you continue to move pages without prior discussion, especially when the moves are to incorrect titles, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. We appreciate contributions, but moving pages as you've done (such as IEEE 802.11 to Wi-fi routers) is simply not appropriate. Mindmatrix 23:18, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
