Interflash

A tag has been placed on Interflash, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Start editing the encyclopedia

I happened upon your contributions, and I noticed that most of them are to your userpage. It looks fine, and you should devote your efforts to writing the encyclopedia or doing other tasks. Click on "community portal" at the left for some ideas. Cheers. YechielMan 06:44, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Repost of message

I posted a message at User talk:Pap crap but since you made a new account I'll post it here too. Note that the part about unblocking no longer applies because you made a new account to evade the block. This account could be blocked for that but I'll refrain at this time. The message was:

The page you created consisted only of the text interflash. That's not really an article. Under Wikipedia's speedy deletion policy, extremely short articles providing no context may be deleted. Your article didn't say what "interflash" is or why anyone should care. Generally a new article should include verifiable references from reliable sources establishing why the subject it notable.

Your friend User:RedSpike101 wrote to me asking about your block. You were blocked because it seems your only edits, besides creating that one word article, have been building your own user page and chatting with other users. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a blog or free web host. Since your account was not being used to help Wikipedia, it was blocked. Also, please do not do stuff like this. You may not claim to be writing on behalf of Wikipedia. You may not claim to have blocked someone unless you actually did, and only admins can do that. I also observed some uncivil comments to other editors. There is a policy which says everyone must be respectful and civil to each other.

You may request to have your account unblocked by adding {unblock|Your reason here}} to this page. Your request is not likely to be granted unless you promise to stop using Wikipedia for chat and and offer suggestions of useful edits you would like to make to improve articles. —dgiestc 02:17, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

INTERFlash

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article INTERFlash, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —dgiestc 14:35, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Image:Dancing Banana.gif

Hello Pap Crap2, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Dancing Banana.gif) was found at the following location: User:Pap Crap2. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. In that case, please find a free image for the template or userbox. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 11:27, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello. I've replaced Image:Winvista.png with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg on User:Pap Crap2/top per Wikipedia non-free content policy item 9: restrictions on location. WODUP 05:33, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Cameron Macmillan

A tag has been placed on Cameron Macmillan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also want to move the page to EverythingWiki. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SpitfireTally-ho! 13:15, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
