  • This file was already listed at FFD and kept, for the record. Same for the other files in this batch, and the uploader doesn't seem to have been notified.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 15:51, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm not sure what "Unused personal image, no encyclopedic use" means. I uploaded these images for use on various Wikipedia pages about tree species and about the cities/towns or historic places where the trees are located. Is the problem that there's a person in the photos along with the trees? I do that to better show the size of the tree, but I can use photos without people in them if that's an issue. Also, at the time that I uploaded these images, I think I hadn't started uploading to Wikimedia Commons yet - so if the problem is that I should have uploaded them to Commons instead, I can do that. I'm not so concerned about these being taken down; I'm more concerned about doing things correctly in the future. Thanks. --Msact (talk) 02:02, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Msact: Generally, if one makes images of a tree one wants to only have a tree in the image, I guess. Hence why they are being called "personal images". And yes, if they are free images they should be uploaded to Commons rather than here, although I know this isn't an universally held opinion.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 07:28, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Fails WP:NFCC#1, could be replaced by a free image FASTILY 06:03, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome to try, but I doubt you will find success. Technetium is not sold to the general public (although it is not that bad a radiation hazard, because it has a very long half-life and decays to clean stability, so make of that what you will given that thorium and uranium are). Double sharp (talk) 11:08, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I did search for US government websites and Creative Commons websites and didn't find any photo of the element itself. As a rare radioactive element free images will be very hard to come by if any exist.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 15:56, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - After poking around and reading about this element, it does appear that access to it for a photograph would be difficult. An example from WP:NON-FREE was helpful in making this decision. "In considering the ability to take a free photograph, it is expected that the photographer respect all local property and privacy laws and restrictions. For example, we would not expect a free photograph of a structure on inaccessible private property that is not visible from public locations." I think that this controlled access radioactive element is a similar case to an inaccessible structure. It is not reasonable to expect that a free equivalent could be made. -- Whpq (talk) 13:45, 17 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete as uncontested. Uploader's user talk doesn't inspire an WP:AGF keep argument either. Deryck C. 21:05, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File:Sariaya Official Seal.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by GEOGIA (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

This is supposed to be the official seal of Sariaya so the claim that the uploader is the copyright holder is problematic. Aws one would expect to the copyright for an official government seal to rest with the government. We may consider conversion to a non-free rationale but there is no source given for where this cam from. The municipality's official web site http://sariaya.gov.ph/ uses a very small version of the seal that has a white background and not the gold textured background seen in the uploaded image so it is unclear if this is indeed the official seal with the appropriate colour schemes. Thank You for you addition George, but I believe for the benefit of the article, a CD single needs to be added, the image was obviously taken by an eBay user and was not a good picture, also I personally wish more Cassette singles for LTT were available in better resolution, but apparently not. troublednbored (talk) 23:38, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
