Same issue as here. This is a satellite photo. Maybe it's public domain, maybe somebody owns the copyright. But, there's no information about where it came from, so nobody really knows. We can't just go grabbing photos we like and using them without proper licensing and attribution. -- RoySmith (talk) 14:42, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like, you sir(RoySmith) personally very much against this map and author of it. I never proposed the satellite image is my "own work", this is falsified statement of yours. It clearly means the descriptions on the image and whole different look of the image is the authors own work.I create this map by using space satellite photo because it is perfectly clear shows everything you do not want public to see.Your style of work against my article is the clear perjury. • @Эльбрус Казбекович: The summary box on the image clearly says "Source: Own work", which means that when you uploaded it, you must've selected the option that says "This file is entirely my own work". RoySmith is not out to get you, he is enforcing Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons policy that all images must list the specific source that they came from. Even if you modify the image to create a derivative work, you still have to list the original source since the image is not entirely your own work. Not all images from Visible Earth are under a free license, so you must provide a link to the information page for the specific image you are using in the "Source" field. --Ahecht (TALK

OK, I see what you mean guys. To be honest, it was very difficult for me to upload this images, due to my age,bad sight and lack of knowledge of computer programs and wiki tricks. I just barely uploaded them , as I could. But on the Russian versions , it was clearly stated, that is space shuttle photo image of those mountain systems.Эльбрус Казбекович (talk) 23:38, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I do not understand. I provided you original source. You sed, speedy stay, but why did not remove that official box under map with those words about "purposes" and "delition" of the file. @Эльбрус Казбекович: The box will be removed when the discussion here is closed, usually after one week. Wikipedia does not use the same templates as Wikimedia Commons, so you cannot use {{own using}}. I have modifed the source boxes on the image page to give an example of how you can indicate the original source on Wikipedia images. --Ahecht (TALK
