- Website screenshot. On the last line of text, it says that permission is given "below", but there is nothing there. Stefan2 (talk) 00:45, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- The only copyrightable elements in that screenshot are the covers of the Grand Theft Auto (series) games. Those are copyrighted by Rockstar Games and this is nowhere near a De minimis case in my opinon, so speedy delete as copyright violation. Yoenit (talk) 14:03, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete wikia:degrassi:File:ArgirisKarras.jpg is obviously the source (see the file information page) and the page claims fair use. wikia:degrassi:Argiris Karras suggests that the person is alive, so the photo shouldn't be eligible for fair use on Wikipedia. --Stefan2 (talk) 14:38, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Contains copyrighted 3-D work per Commons:Commons:FOP#United States (U.S. circa 2005), with no evidence presented that the photographer/uploader is the sculptor/designer. Closeapple (talk) 15:29, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Further detail by nominator: Main subject is a 3-dimensional work of art newly created for display at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (see [1]), so it was presumably first publicly displayed after February 1989 and first in the United States, is not the work product of a U.S. government employee, and is not architectural. ALPLM FAQ #39 says "The Presidential Library and Museum is owned and operated by the State of Illinois." and the copyright page says "This web site and its contents contain intellectual property copyright materials and works belonging to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum (ALPLM), the State of Illinois and third parties." Neither specifies who owns the copyright to any of the commissioned works for the museum, or on what legal entity the work was done on behalf of. (Side note: The museum's own site has an image almost identical to (but smaller than) this one! The file timestamp on the Museum's web server is Wednesday, May 25, 2005 12:18:57 AM, 20 months before the Wikipedia upload, so it's not immediately clear if they are from the same source.) --Closeapple (talk) 15:30, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- The same issue (photographic copy of 3-D work unveiled after 1978) may also affect this user's other uploads from the Lincoln Museum, such as Commons:File:Fords Theater Scene in the Abraham Lincoln Museum.jpg and Commons:File:Lincoln Family.in Abraham Lincoln Museum.jpg. The user (Winonave (talk · contribs)) also uploaded File:BobRogers and Abe.jpg, which might indicate that the user had something to do with the making of the Lincoln Museum works also, but it's not clear what. --Closeapple (talk) 15:57, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- 2 images under same name: Yetiwriter's version properly licensed and now available on Commons as File:Lincoln Home National Historic Site Yw.jpg (so WP:CSD#F8). ADeveria's version had no summary and didn't change the file description, and therefore did not assert any license at all (so WP:CSD#F4 after 7 days). - File:Kavkasioni.JPG (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Source and author information unclear. The origin is ka:ფაილი:Kavkasioni.JPG. Can anybody read what is stated there? Leyo 21:18, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I can't read the text, but the file looks free. Looking at the source, the kawiki template is called ka:Template:PD-self, which probably means the same as en:Template:PD-self. On the same date, the user uploaded two similar PD-self images (ka:ფაილი:Myinvarwveri.JPG & ka:ფაილი:Ialbuzi.JPG), and the EXIF tells that the same camera model was used for all three images, so it isn't unlikely that PD-self is correct. --Stefan2 (talk) 14:49, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks for your investigation. It sounds reasonable. --Leyo 15:19, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
