John Entwistle

John Alec Entwistle sündis 1944. aastal Londoni äärelinnas Chiswickis ja õppis Acton County algkoolis.

Ta liitus Middlesex Youth Orchestraga ning õppis trompetit, metsasarve ja klaverit mängima.

1960. aastate alguses mängis ta mitmes džäss- ja diksiländansamblis. Koos oma koolivenna Pete Townshendiga tegi ta ansamblit The Confederates, koos liitusid nad ka Roger Daltrey bändiga The Detours, millest sai hiljem The Who.
