릴 어글리 메인

밀러는 2000년대에 여러 가명으로 음악을 녹음하기 시작했다. 그의 초기 음악의 대부분은 오늘날 인터넷에서 찾을 수 없지만, 그의 컴필레이션 앨범과 같은 일부 음악은 다시 발매되었다. 그의 초기 작품 중 일부는 블랙 메탈 프로젝트인 부드머크(Vudmurk)와 세이더(Seidhr), 인더스트리얼 뮤직(Industrial music)과 노이즈 뮤직 프로젝트인 크로스, 퍼블릭 가든과 래츠, 그리고 언더그라운드 힙합 그룹인 더 레거시(The Legacy)를 포함했다.^[6]

밀러(Miller)는 2010년 밴드캠프에서 릴 어글리 마네(Lil Ugly Maneon Bandcamp)라는 이름으로 힙합을 발매하고 숀 켐프(Shawn Kemp)라는 이름으로 자신과 다른 아티스트들을 위한 비트를 프로듀싱하기 시작했으며, 2011년 데뷔 믹스테이프 "Playaz Circle"을 발매했다.^[7]릴 어글리 마네(Lil Ugly Mane)라는 이름으로 그의 초기 작품은 멤피스 랩과, 스크랩과 같은 다양한 스타일의 언더그라운드 서던 힙합을 그렸다.그의 스타일은 그가 협력했던 동시대의 레이더 클랜 콜렉티브와 유사했다. 그의 2012년 데뷔 앨범 "Mista Thug Isolation"은 미쉬카 뉴욕 등으로부터 긍정적인 평가와 인기 힙합 그룹 오드 퓨처(Odd Future)의 멤버들로부터 지지를 받았다.^[8][9] 이 음반은 이후 2010년대 언더그라운드 힙합씬의 고전으로 환영받았고, 이후 피치포크(Pitchfork)와 니들 드롭(The Needle Drop)으로부터 찬사를 받았다.^[10][11] 이 음반은 사용자 제작 음악 리뷰 사이트 RateYourMusic에 의해 역대 가장 위대한 EP 톱 10에 랭크된 "Uneven Corpise" EP를 포함한 다수의 소규모 발매가 뒤따랐다. 그리고 싱글 〈On Doing an Evil Dead Blues〉에서는 음악 산업에 대한 그의 불만과 릴 어글리 마네 프로젝트를 은퇴하려는 의도를 설명했다.^[12][13]

밀러는 마지막 음반을 릴 어글리 마네(Lil Ugly Mane)라는 이름으로 발매할 것이라고 발표했고, 밴드캠프에 "Three Sided Tape" 시리즈를 포함한 비트와, 오래된 소재의 모음집을 산발적으로 발매하기 시작했다.^[14] 2015년, 밀러는 마지막 릴 어글리 마네 음반인 "Oblivion Access"와 마지막 숀 켐프 프로젝트인 "Trick Dice"를 발표했는데, 이 프로젝트는 래퍼 니켈러스 F. "Oblivion Access"와 함께 릴 어글리 마네가 90년대 초반의 사우스 랩 영향과 분리되어 실험적인 접근을 하는 것을 보았다.^[15]

2017년, 밀러는 베드웨터라는 이름으로 랩을 계속할 것이라고 발표했고, "Volume 1: Flick Your Tongue Against Your Teeth and Describe the Present"라는 이름으로 데뷔 프로젝트를 발표했다. 이 음반은 "Oblivion Access" 보다 내성적이고 실험적인 스타일로 계속되었다.^[16]그러나 비슷한 시기에, 밀러는 앤트원과 위키(랩퍼)와 함께 시크릿 서클의 일원으로 다시 릴 어글리 마네라는 이름으로 랩을 하기 시작했다. 몇 개의 싱글을 발매한 후, 이 그룹은 해체되었고, 개인적인 탈락으로 인해 데뷔 앨범을 폐기했다.^[17] 밀러는 고트보이 클리크(GothBoiClique)의 남은 멤버들과 함께 작업을 시작했지만, 그 후 중단되는 듯 보였고, 오래된 자료들의 작은 컬렉션만 산발적으로 발매했다.2021년, 밀러는 릴 어글리 마네라는 이름으로 새로운 음악을 발매하기 시작했다. 그는 싱글 "Headboard"를 발매했고, 이어서 〈Porcelain Sliffly〉를 발매했고, 이후 그의 세 번째 메이저 음반인 "Volcanic Bird Enemy and the Voiceed Concern"을 발매했다.^[18][19]비슷한 시기에 밀러는 버드머크(Vudmurk)라는 이름으로 새로운 블랙 메탈 데모를 발표했다.^[20]
