ജാട്ട് റെജിമെന്റ്
ഭാരതീയ കരസേനയിലെ ഏറ്റവും പരിചയസമ്പന്നമായതും ദീർഘകാലത്തെ സേവനപാരമ്പര്യവുമുള്ള ഒരു സൈനിക റജിമെന്റാണ് ജാട്ട് റെജിമെന്റ് 1839 മുതൽ സൈനികരംഗത്ത് സാന്നിദ്ധ്യമുള്ള ഈ റജിമെന്റ് രണ്ടു ലോകമഹായുദ്ധങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരവധി സൈനിക മുന്നേറ്റങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.39 വീരചക്രപതക്കങ്ങളും 170 സേനാമെഡലുകളും ജാട്ട് റജിമെന്റിനു സമർപ്പിയ്ക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.[2]
