佔位修飾符號

佔位修飾符號是一个位于基本多文种平面的Unicode區塊，主要收录了国际音标、乌拉尔音标及其他各種不同的標音符號字元，其中包括國際音標的聲調符號、顎化修飾符號和送氣修飾符號。本區塊名稱中的“佔位”是指这些字元应当在文字中内佔据一定宽度空间，而不像组合附加符号那樣不佔有空间且与前一个字元共用空间。此区段于1.0版本的旧称为佔位符號[3]。
