Λότφι Α. Ζάντεχ
Ο Λότφι Αλίασκερ Ζάντεχ (αγγλικά: Lotfi Aliasker Zadeh, αζερικά: Lütfi Rəhim oğlu Ələsgərzadə, περσικά: لطفی علیعسکرزاده) (4 Φεβρουαρίου 1921 - 6 Σεπτεμβρίου 2017)[18][19] ήταν Ιρανός-Αμερικανός μαθηματικός, επιστήμονας υπολογιστών, ηλεκτρολόγος μηχανικός, ερευνητής της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης και καθηγητής της επιστήμης υπολογιστών στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Καλιφόρνια στο Μπέρκλεϋ.[20][21]
Ο Ζάντεχ είναι περισσότερο γνωστός για τα ασαφή μαθηματικά που ανέπτυξε, τα οποία αποτελούνται από τις εξής ασαφείς έννοιες: ασαφή σύνολα,[22] ασαφής λογική,[23] ασαφείς αλγόριθμοι,[24] ασαφής σημασιολογία,[25] ασαφείς γλώσσες,[26] ασαφής έλεγχος,[27] ασαφή συστήματα, ασαφείς πιθανότητες,[28] ασαφή συμβάντα[29] και ασαφείς πληροφορίες.
Ο Ζάντεχ ήταν ιδρυτικό μέλος της Ευρασιατικής Ακαδημίας.
