Charlotte Plank is an English musician. She released three solo singles and then sang lead vocals on "Dancing Is Healing" by Rudimental and Vibe Chemistry, which charted at No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart. She is a member of Loud LDN.

Life and career
Early life
Plank was born in Australia,[1] and attended Notting Hill Academy of Music.[2] Her parents met in Australia in the early 1990s rave scene; her uncle was a DJ. She first started recording during lockdown;[3] her first works were lo-fi demos.[4] She previously worked at Marks and Spencer.[4]
Early works
On 14 February 2021, she released "Dont U Know", with Frankie Allan and Strictly Banks,[5] and on 13 August 2021, she featured on Reflecting, from Chowerman's EP ANTITHESIS, which also featured Luciferian and Kami-O.[6] On 20 May 2022, Plank self-released "Hate Me".[7] The song detailed Plank's attempts at putting off a potential love interest, due to her own self-hatred.[8] The song brought Plank to the attention of Black Butter Records, who signed her,[9] and rereleased the song on 19 August 2022,[10] the same day as its camcorder-style music video, which was shot with Sexy Lady Massive, a women-only rave in London.[11] On 9 November 2022, she released "Lost Boys",[10] which discusses men's mental health.[4] On 19 January 2023, she released "L.S.D. (Love So Damaged)",[10] which discusses the struggles of a toxic relationship.[4]
Chart success
On 21 April 2023, Plank, Rudimental and Vibe Chemistry, released "Dancing Is Healing",[12] a song about the healing properties of dancing,[13] which charted at No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart,[14] and was certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).[15] On 25 April 2023, she released "White Noise",[10] which she had previously performed live.[16] On 18 May 2023,[17] she, Turno, and Skepsis released "Rave Out"; the track was recorded as the first of 22 tracks to come out of a January 2023 writing camp, and discusses men's mental health,[18] and charted at No. 37 on the UK Singles Chart.[14] "Dancing is Healing" and "Rave Out" later appeared on Plank's mixtape InHer World.[19] Plank and Skepsis later collaborated again in February 2024 for "Green & Gold", a collaboration with Rudimental and Riko Dan[20] of Roll Deep,[21] which charted at No. 29.[22]

Plank's inspirations include Fleetwood Mac, Sam Fender, Keith Flint, Orbital, and Bicep.[4] She, Piri, Venbee, Issey Cross, and Willow Kayne are members of Loud LDN, a collective of female and non-binary musicians based in London and its suburbs.[23]
