Igli Hasani is an Albanian politician and the current Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Albania.[1][2]

Biography
Hasani studied at the University of Tirana's Faculty of Social Sciences for Philosophy-Sociology and Faculty of Law, and at King's College London where he earned a master's degree in international relations. At the same time, he has completed a variety of high-level professional credentials at places like the Marshall Center in Germany and the Royal College of UK Defense Studies.[3][4]
Hasani has worked for the Ministry of Defence for 17 years (2001–2018)[3] in a variety of executive positions, including Director of NATO and contacts with Foreign Countries and Director of Euro-Atlantic Integrations.[5][6][4]
Igli Hasani was Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Vienna, Austria.[1][7][8]
From January 2018 to November 2021, he was head of the Mission of Albania to the OSCE. Later on he became the OSCE Coordinator of the Economic and Environmental Dimension.[1][9][10][8] He was the only Albanian who held the highest position in OSCE.[7]
He took over as Chairman of the Group of Asian Partners for Cooperation in January 2021.[6]
