Kangaroo Paw is the common name for the genus Anigozanthos, this one is Anigozanthos manglesii or the Red and Green Kangaroo Paw is the floral emblem for Western Australia. Flowering from August to November with high standing flowers, occurring throughout urban and coastal regions.

Taken in Mount Lawley which is a suburb of Perth. This style of Jarrah picket fencing was commonly used on residential boundaries throughout Perth until the 1980s.

St Barthelomew's Church in the remaining area of East Perth Cemeteries, originally built as mortuary chapel in 1848. In 1870 it was converted into a church by Richard Roach Jewell and extended in 1900 to include a nave and sanctuary.

The 'Basin' at Rottnest Island, Western Australia. The Bathurst Lighthouse can be seen in the distance. Rottnest is located 19 km off the coast of Western Australia, near Fremantle. The island is 11 kilometres long, and 4.5 kilometres at its widest point. The land area measures 19 km². It is classified as an A Class Reserve and is managed by the Rottnest Island Authority. No private ownership of land is allowed.

The Pinnacles Desert is an area of unique limestone formations within the Nambung National Park in Western Australia. The desert contains many thousands of pillars, which rise up to five metres, with shape and texture having been defined by calcification processes and erosion. Since The Pinnacles was incorporated into the national park in the 1960s, the area has become significant tourist attraction.

Fremantle Prison is a former Australian prison located in Fremantle in Western Australia. The 60,000 m² site includes the prison, gatehouse, perimeter walls, cottages, tunnels, and prisoner art. The prison was built by convict labour in the 1850s, and transferred to the colonial government in 1886 for use as a gaol for locally-sentenced prisoners. It closed as a prison in 1991 and re-opened as a historic site and is now a public museum.

The Busselton Jetty located in Busselton is at 1,841 metres is the longest wooden structure in the southern hemisphere. The jetty is one of the major tourism sites in the South West region.
