I prefer the list to be ordered by party as in the article, and I am unsure if adding photos for each member is desirable, given that the article is already quite long. What do you think the advantages of the format you have given here are?-gadfium 20:58, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

It is consistent. That is how we do it in most other countries. Look at List of MPs elected in the 2019 United Kingdom general election for example. It also lists the constituencies they stood in (as opposed to just the ones they won) and inculudes other notes. I would be OK with keeping the old format alongside this one (although that may get long) because that format listed all ministries and portfolios that member was put in charge of. I've just been through and updated the portfolios and responsibilities for MPs. One area that I've left because I'm not certain about it is the spokesperson roles held by NZ First and Green MPs, which are listed on their individual pages on the Parliament website. Despite being part of the government, they still have their own spokespeople on various portfolios, as they did when in opposition. The confusing aspect is that some of these roles are held by serving Ministers. Even Winston is still officially NZ First's finance spokesperson, while serving as no. 2 in the Cabinet. Currently none of these roles are listed, except, for some reason, one of the twelve portfolios held by Golriz Ghahraman. Should these roles be listed in the same way that National MPs' responsibilities are? There isn't really a precedent in the previous Parliament, as the government support parties then were so small that there was no point in allocating distinct portfolios to their individual MPs.2406:E003:18CE:D701:D5D5:DE62:87A7:7609 (talk) 05:58, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
