Result Sources

Not sure if anyone else is interested, but I am taking my results for these events from the BBC's athletics web page ; it lists special information such as Season Bests, Personal Bests, National Bests, Olympic Record, World Records, etc.

I have a small program that I have written that goes through the results page and automatically formats it with Wikipedia markup, so the work I have to do in conversion is minimal. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in having a copy of, then drop me a line on my talk page -- Zaphod Beeblebrox 18:08, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)

If you check this section of the official website, you will see that when you place the arrow over the pictogram, the text says that they are property of the ATHOC (ATHens Organizing Committee). Is there any cause for this to be considered fair use? As a matter of fact, there are quite a few articles on olympic events displaying the respective pictograms, it would appear that all of them will have to be removed. Redux 05:14, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
