The article is inconsistent regarding units. It initially references "Oktas" as being the unit. This seems to be a "local observeration", vs a unit. Then the next numerical reference talks about 0.68 - which implies 0.68 okta. The customary cloud cover reference would be percent. Finally, down the bottom of the article, the discussion of variability seems to oscillate between a 'unit' measure and a percent measure. The global average is stated as being 67% which seems strangely similar to the statement of 0.68. Clouds play multiple critical roles in the climate system.
