@Thriley: Thanks very much for doing this review. How about:

ALT1: ... that Harris Computer Systems and its chief competitor engaged in sometimes acrimonious discussions regarding who would acquire whom?
ALT2: ... that Harris Computer Systems was acquired by another company, but going forward had the principal role in terms of headquarters location, CEO, and product line?

Okay, try two more:

ALT3: ... that Harris Computer Systems had its origins in 24-bit computing?
ALT4: ... that Harris Computer Systems specialized in making computers for real-time simulation?

Both of these focus on technologies; the first of these should be especially hooky in that most people think of computer architecture sizes always being powers of two. Wasted Time R (talk) 10:57, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
