– I don't think this Singaporean region can be considered a primary topic when the Chinese city of Jurong (Jurong, Jiangsu) has way more people (584k vs. 357k). Timmyshin (talk) 07:13, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

• Oppose per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Look at the pageview stats. The two areas are not that different in size, but as an English-speaking country, Singapore is going to have far have more readers. —  AjaxSmack  17:04, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

• The Chinese city has 60% more people and 16 times more land area. Pageview stats are meaningless when one page already occupies the primary topic spot, and even if the Singaporean estate has more page views, this is hardly a WP:TWODABS situation, just look at Jurong (disambiguation). If you base everything on pageviews, then Jurong Island not the estate seems to be the primary topic for Jurong. Timmyshin (talk) 19:00, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

• Oppose Hey Timmyshin, sorry for opposing this move. Jurong actually refers to the region in the west/south-west of Singapore and it includes towns like Jurong East, Jurong West, the indusrial Jurong Island as well as landmarks like Jurong Bird Park (Jurong refers to the overall region). I usually look up references in Google books to gauge the primary topic. I did the following searches "jurong" AND "China"(17,200 results), "jurong" AND "Jiangsu"(2,220 results), "jurong" AND "Singapore"(67,600 results). The region of Jurong in Singapore is usually what is meant when using the word "Jurong". --Lemongirl942 (talk) 03:41, 19 June 2016 (UTC)

• You can also try "jurong" AND "Jiangsu" AND "Singapore"(495 results) and "jurong" AND "China" AND "Singapore"(14,200 results) and go through some of the results. You will notice that most of them actually refer to the Jurong region in Singapore. I also did an exclusive search "jurong" AND "China" -Singapore(2,980 results), "jurong" AND "Jiangsu" -Singapore(1,770 results), "jurong" AND "Singapore" -China -Jiangsu(59,900 results).
