Suggestion to merge this article with Jurong because they are pretty much the same thing, considered expanding Jurong instead.

That Akira store is long gone. Akira is strangly mentioned in this article to its advantage of "discounts", which I feel should be taken out of this page entirely.

What is the use of having seperate pages to describe Jurong when all the 3 pages are talking about the same thing, or otherwise sub-sections can be created at the main page to describe the west and east parts?

It would be good if the Jurong, Jurong East and Jurong West wiki pages can be merged together and called 'Jurong'. Aka "combining forces". We can describe Jurong more better.

I have already done the following before this, -improve the wiki pages of precincts and create wiki pages for precincts that currently do not have one. -make everything under 'Jurong' and not under seperate 'Jurong West' and 'Jurong East'. -make Jurong wiki page similar to wiki pages of other mega towns, such as Woodlands and Tampines.Right now, the 'Jurong East' and 'Jurong West' wiki pages are rather redundant now. I have tried redirecting this page before but was told off. I am now writing this to seek permission to redirect this page.Seriously, what is the use of having 3 seperate wiki pages describing the same thing when we can combine everything together and improve the description of Jurong?

I intend to do it this way, similar to how Google map works:Level 1 - 'Jurong' wiki page will give a general image of Jurong, such as it's history and brief introduction. Level 2 - the different wiki pages on the precincts and districts will give a detailed image of Jurong, such as the different colours of Jurong.Level 3 - the sections in the wiki pages will give finer details of Jurong, such as the life of people staying in Jurong. Through these 3 levels, those reading 'Jurong' wiki page will know 'Jurong' quite well.

Rather than before that, -'Jurong' gives a general image(same thing as now) --> 'Jurong West' and 'Jurong East' describe the residential towns.(full stop)#End#-random wiki pages on the different precincts and districts. some of them were not even describing the precinct.(eg. refer to the earlier pages of Yuhua, Singapore)

It will define Jurong more better, rather than previously being just a "history book"s.

So, yeah, I hope that this 'Jurong East' wiki page can be redirected to Jurong.
