Used in "blue aluminium"?
Removed this claim: "also finds use in pyrotechnics, as it is needed to make 'blue aluminium'" (BA) The latter seems to be the commercial name for an aluminium powder of a particular grain size, that is supposed to be a safer replacement for standard aluminium powder in salutes. I could not find any reference to pentaerythritol being used in its manufacture. Perhaps it was just the editor's guess that BA contained PETN, since pyrothecnic preparations with BA are said to produce louder bangs than standard ones. --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 02:03, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
