Harakiri as distinct punishment from seppuku
The article currently makes the dubious claim that "Harakiri ... would only be assigned as a punishment towards acts deemed too heinous for seppuku." Do we have the slightest evidence in Japanese sources for this? AFAIK in Japan no legal distinction was ever made been the two. Jpatokal (talk) 07:10, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
