Strand apparel spotted about Greenwich Village

I have never seen anyone but an employee wearing "Strand apparel". This statement in the article sounds like original research. -THB 11:58, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Owner's daughter

Why is there a picture of her? Even though she is mentioned in the article, the article isn't about her but of the shop itself. If there should be a picture, there should be one of the owner. 130.195.5.7 (talk) 03:26, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Why? How?

This article does a concise, but good job at answering the who, what, where, and when questions. However, it lacks information on the motivation of establishing the bookstore, and what the bookstore's intended purpose is. It also does not mention how the bookstore has come to acquire its 2.5 million books and other materials. Found on the bookstore's website, Strand buys books, DVDS, audiobooks etc. Yeilingma (talk) 18:46, 27 October 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yeilingma (talkcontribs) 19:12, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
