Pronunciation of the letter a

This letter is not pronounced [æ] in Tajik. Even in Iranian Persian it's between [æ] an [a], but in Tajik it's between front [a] and even central [ä]. Who said that it's [æ] in Tajik?

bruh

I didnt know that /tʃ dʒ/ and /ʃ ʒ/ are palatal, bruh — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.215.53.31 (talk) 06:25, 15 October 2020 (UTC)

@HistoryofIran: On second thought, that entire sentence about the popularity of the idea should be replaced with something more objective – preferably public opinion in Tajikistan. Esszet (talk) 04:07, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

POV

The lede acknowledges that views are divided on whether Tajik as a separate language or a dialect of Persian, and yet it basically presents it as a type of Persian anyway. It should be worded in a neutral way. 87.126.21.225 (talk) 18:58, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
