"The project was approved by both the Tolkien family and their publishers, HarperCollins." — Prose needs to cover that this project was approved by HarperCollins. Also that it was approved by the Tolkien family, if this statement in the lead is referring to something that preceded the group's formation, or if it was separate from "In January 1997, Reiff and Peter Hall were granted permission by the Tolkien Estate to record the first 12 songs from The Lord of the Rings."
