Timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic in November 2020

This article documents the chronology and epidemiology of SARS-CoV-2 in November 2020, the virus which causes the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and is responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic. The first human cases of COVID-19 were identified in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.

2 November

  • Canada has reported 3,273 new cases, bringing the total number to 241,961.[6]
  • Malaysia has reported 834 new cases, bringing the total number of cases to 33,339. 900 have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 23,120. Two deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 251. There are 9,968 active cases, with 91 in intensive care and 32 on ventilator support.[7]

3 November

  • American Samoa reported its first three confirmed cases from the Fesco Alkold container ship.[48]

  • Malaysia has reported 972 active cases, bringing the total to 41,181. 1,345 have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered to 29,579. Eight deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 294. There are 11,308 active cases with 86 in intensive care and 31 on ventilator support.[50]
