The first number-one single of the 2010s was "Meet Me Halfway" by The Black Eyed Peas - released in 2009, first reached number one in December, and remained at the top for five consecutive weeks. The final number one of the decade was "Ritmo (Bad Boys for Life)" also by The Black Eyed Peas and Colombian singer J Balvin.
