Hello, I am purplewowies, and I am a Disney freak! If you haven't noticed the box beside this text, I am a member of WikiProject Disney. I am taking an ASL class and am doing quite well.
UPDATE: The above was written on October 30, 2007, and has not been changed since then. I'm adding to it instead of editing it in the hopes it will kill some space so the hidden box in my to-do list will pop up a little closer to its section heading. :P
Now, a little about me:
When I made this account, I was fourteen. I am still a Disney freak and a Wikiproject Disney member, but I have done other things, joined other Wikiprojects, and grown up a little since then. For example, I've joined the Accessibilty, Television, and Deaf WikiProjects. I'm also a member of Wikiproject Wikify, though I'm currently too stressed to actively contribute to it.
I'm a fan of Dylan and Cole Sprouse, and I helped get it back up to GA status after it was delisted in early September 2011. I'm currently attempting to get it up to featured article status
I am also an undergraduate college student majoring in Deaf education, and I hope to teach elementary-aged Deaf children someday. I had to graduate with a general studies degree for financial reasons--but I'm going to go back and get that deaf ed degree when my financial situation is a bit better.
