Plas Cadnant Estate Plas Cadnant Estate is near Menai Bridge in Anglesey, Wales.The existing house was built on the site of a farm house in late 17th Century by John Price (1754-1804). He created the Plas Cadnant Estate by consolidating the land of several adjoining farmsteads in his ownership.Successive generations of the Price family occupied the estate until the 1920's when Plas Cadnant was sold, following the death of the last surviving unmarried daughter.The estate was bought by the Fanning's, a military family. Their military postings in India meant they had to rent the estate. It became neglected after World War 2, but is currently undergoing restoration.
Since 1996 almost ten acres of overgrown gardens have been faithfully restored to the original "Picturesque Style" of the late 17th century.
