List of French words of Germanic origin

I tried very hard to work in your edits. In the end, they did not seem to assist the purpose of the article, but only padded it with excess information.

List of French words of Germanic origin

I appreciate your edits. However, your edits sometimes conflict with the page's theme, which is Frankish lexical influence in French.Although the points you add are certainly correct and factual, they are sometimes distracting (--but not always), as they interrupt the flow and purpose of the article/or they pad it with superfluous information that can be obtained from other articles via the links (the excess info about Hugh Capet's mother is one such byspel). My suggestion is that you may find it very rewarding to create your own page to present additional viewpoints. Leasnam (talk) 21:08, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to King's Daughters, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Falcon8765 (talk) 03:47, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to French language. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Bento00 (talk) 23:33, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
