Media generated views for several topics including Marilyn Monroe (#4) and India viewed several films' articles a lot; all told, we seem to mostly be back to normal, with the royals having mostly left and a return to diverse lists. Oh yeah, and Jeffrey Dahmer got 10 million views again.

5	Loretta Lynn		1,333,810		One of the biggest names in country music with songs like "You Ain't Woman Enough (To Take My Man)" (relevant link) and 57 years of touring prior to a stroke in 2017, Loretta Lynn died at the age of 90.
6	John Wayne Gacy		1,233,934		Another serial killer showcased on Netflix, the "Killer Clown" who has a brief appearance in #1's show.
7	Erling Haaland		1,191,106		One of the few high profile footballers who won't get a views spike when the 2022 FIFA World Cup starts next month (his nation failing to qualify), this Norwegian striker who plays for Manchester City became the first player in Premier League history to have hat tricks in three consecutive home games.
8	2022 Brazilian general election		1,142,067		Cracked.com once accurately described this as the only country whose elections managed to be as screwed as the American ones. And the worst part is that it's not over, as the representatives and most state governors were elected but there is a second round for closer races, most importantly for president, currently led by a former ruler whose government had much corruption but at least couldn't be qualified as a total trainwreck like its opposition.
9	House of the Dragon		1,137,206		Still here in its seventh week, presumably because Wikipedia isn't too dark. (nor full of terrors)
10	Empress Elisabeth of Austria		969,751		And now for a less objectionable subject of a Netflix historical drama, the monarch also known as Sissi is the main character of German show The Empress. The show seemingly ends early in her life as Empress, so maybe it will earn more seasons?
11	2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine		910,141		It continues. The Ukrainians had great reason to celebrate, after an explosion on the Crimean Bridge - the only physical connection between Russia and the territory it illegally annexed in 2014 - caused its partial collapse. The bridge, which has been used to support Russian troops attacking Ukraine from the Crimean peninsula, has long been considered a legitimate military target by Ukrainian officials.

13	Smile (2022 film)		855,534		Number 1 at the US box office this week is this frightening horror movie featuring hallucinations with creepy smiles, that even scared some baseball fans with its viral marketing.

21	Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story		597,453		I don't want to talk about this show! Instead let's note that as opposed to Netflix, Disney+ missed out four times on the Report, as the long-belated sequel Hocus Pocus 2 was the first off the list at #26, the 1993 movie that introduced those witches was #29, right above the Marvel Cinematic Universe Halloween special Werewolf by Night, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was #32 in the week that it brought the other Marvel superhero lawyer.
22	Godfather (2022 film)		596,968		A Tollywood remake of another movie. But not the one you're thinking of.
23	Jesse Anderson		553,119		#2 also bludgeoned this guy to death after killing #1, in a racially motivated affair as Anderson tried to frame two Black men for the murder of his wife.
24	Elizabeth II		537,226		And Her Majesty is about to drop off the list one month after her death. Don't worry, The Crown returns next month and us of the Top 25 Report will again have to discuss the British Royals.
25	The Super Mario Bros. Movie		501,946		Hey paisanos! In 2023, Nintendo's mascot will finally get a faithful adaptation in theaters 30 years after that awful thing with Bob Hoskins, and the first trailer for this Illumination Entertainment cartoon with Chris Pratt voicing the plumber was released during Nintendo Direct.
