1946-1991 combined military forces of Albania
The Albanian People's Army (Albanian: Ushtria Popullore Shqiptare, UPSh) was the national army of the People's Socialist Republic of Albania. It was existed from 1946 until it's dissolution in 1990.
The UPSh was subjected to the rule of the Party of Labour of Albania, like all other Communist states. After it's disband, it reformed through the Albanian Armed Forces. It consisted of the Ground Forces, the Navy and the Air Force.[1]
