Aloyzas Kveinys
Lithuanian chess player (1962-2018)
Aloyzas Kveinys (9 July 1962 — 26 July 2018) was a Lithuanian chess player. He was awarded the Grandmaster title in 1992. He was born in Mažeikiai, Lithuania.
Kveinys was awarded the Soviet Master of Sport title for chess in 1981. He won the Lithuanian championship 5 times: in 1983 (shared with Eduardas Rozentalis),[1] 1986,[2] 2001 (shared with Šarūnas Šulskis), 2008 and 2012.[3] In 2010 he won a tournament in Moss, Norway.[4]
