Michael E. Haynes

politician in Massachusetts, US (1927-2019)

Michael E. Haynes (May 9, 1927 – September 12, 2019) was an American minister and politician.[1][2] He was in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1965 to 1968, representing Roxbury, Massachusetts.[3] He was also a member of the Boston Mayor's Committee on Violence and the Attorney General's Advisory Committee on Drug Addiction.

He was pastor at Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury from 1964 to 2004.[4][5]

Haynes died on September 12, 2019 at the age of 92.[6]
