NGC 6027

galaxy in the constellation Serpens

NGC 6027 is a lenticular galaxy. It is the brightest member of the Seyfert's Sextet, a compact galaxy group. It is located 190 million light years away from Earth in the constellation of Serpens. It was discovered by Édouard Stephan in 1882.[1]
