Pavel Chihaia
Romanian writer
Pavel Chihaia (23 April 1922 – 18 June 2019) was a Romanian novelist. He was born in Corabia. His first novel, Blocada (The Blockade), was published in 1947. The novel was released before communist rule in Romania, and was part of an anti-communist organisation. In 1978, he left Romania to live in German city of Munich.
Chihaia died on 18 June 2019 in Munich, at the age of 97.[1]
