Ralph Branca

American baseball player (1926–2016)

Ralph Theodore Joseph Branca (January 6, 1926 – November 23, 2016) was an American baseball player. He was a former starting pitcher in Major League Baseball.[1] From 1944 through 1956, Branca played for the Brooklyn Dodgers (1944–53, 1956), Detroit Tigers (1953–54), and New York Yankees (1954).

Branca died on the morning of November 23, 2016 at a nursing home in Rye Brook, New York, aged 90.[2]
