Ibn AbdulBerr
Yūsuf ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Barr, Abū ʿUmar al-Namarī al-Andalusī al-Qurṭubī al-Mālikī, i njohur zakonisht si Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr (arabisht: ابن عبد البر)[2][3] ishte një dijetar Maliki i shekullit të njëmbëdhjetë.

Biografia
Ibn 'Abd al-Barr lindi në vitin 978. Sipas Ibn Khallikan, Ibn Abd al-Barr rrjedh nga fisi arab i Namr ibn Qasit.[4]
Ndërsa fillimisht kishte qenë pasues i shkollës Zahirite të jurisprudencës myslimane, Ibn Abd al-Barr më vonë kaloi në shkollën Maliki, e cila ishte kodi ligjor i njohur zyrtarisht i dinastisë Umajad, nën të cilën ai jetoi. Libri i tij mbi tre juristët e mëdhenj sunitë Malik ibn Anas, Al-Shafi'i dhe Ebu Hanife në mënyrë të dukshme përjashtoi si ish-patronin e tij Dawud al-Zahiri dhe Ahmed ibn Hanbal.[5] Ibn 'Abd al-Barr ishte një kundërshtar i fortë i praktikës së taklidit (imitimi i verbër)[6] dhe përfaqësonte fillin tradicionalist të shkollës Maliki.[7] Ai është përmendur shpesh si "Buhariu i Perëndimit".[8]
Një kujdestar i bibliotekave mbretërore nga Kalifati Umajad në Kordobo, ai dha mësim në Xhaminë e Madhe të Kordobës dhe kolegjet e bashkangjitura me të.[9]
Ai vdiq më 2 dhjetor 1071 në Xàtiva in Al-Andalus.[10][11]

- Al-Insâf fî Asmâ' Allâh ("The Book of Fidelity: On the Names of Allâh");
- Al-Intiqâ' fî Fadâ'il al-Thalâthat al-A'immat al-Fuqahâ' Mâlik wal-Shâfi`î wa Abî Hanîfa ("The Hand-Picked Excellent Merits of the Three Great Jurisprudent Imâms: Mâlik, Shâfi`î, and Abû Hanîfa"). Shaykh `Abd al-Fattâh Abû Ghudda said the order in the title reflects the precedence of Madîna over Makka and that of Makka over al-Kûfa.
