概况
2019冠狀病毒病疫情已讓不少國家和地区的電視台推遲或停止電視節目的製作。
已經採取了這樣的措施和變化，以呼籲社會疏遠和在家中下訂單的命令，以及製作公司和廣播公司為維護所有製作相關人員的安全做出的承諾。
Ampere Analysis預計，這種流行病已推遲了全球至少60％的腳本電視節目，包括至少原定於2020年下半年播出的節目的一半。非腳本製作的節目顯著增加，包括較小的節目可以遠程製作的小規模系列影片，可用於填寫時間表，直到腳本化節目恢復製作為止（請注意，觀眾可能最終會因以大流行為主題的節目而感到厭倦）。[1]
由於動畫師在家工作的便捷性，預計動畫行業將蓬勃發展。
製作
澳洲
十號電視網的《The Project》、《與星共舞》及《Studio 10》暫停了觀眾入場。[2]由於旅行限制，《澳洲人生還者：全明星》Reunion Episode 會在沒有觀眾的情況下拍攝，並將由安德魯·古斯伯格主持，而並非強納森·拉帕里亞主持。[3]澳洲總理斯科特·莫里森決定發佈4級旅行禁令以禁止民眾出國旅行後，定於4月在斐濟開始拍攝的《澳大利亞生還者》第八季遭到推遲。[4][5]十號電視網還更改了《驚險大挑戰澳洲版》第五季的賽馬場，因此其僅在澳大利亞拍攝，而不是在國外拍攝。[6]

環球電視網通過將常規新聞播出的時間延長並減少娛樂節目來改變節目播出安排。[7]

日本
受新冠肺炎疫情导致的外包人手不足影响，多部日本动画因制作上出现问题宣布修改内容或延期播出。[8][9][10]
2020年5月9日，據報導在公共衛生危機期間完成了九部動畫系列的製作。[11]
香港
2020年4月8日，電視廣播有限公司向其他傳媒發出公告，表示受肺炎疫情肆虐影響，為保障香港及海外參賽者健康，決定暫停舉辦自1973年起於每年夏季舉行的《香港小姐競選》，以及原定於該年2月舉行的《2020國際中華小姐競選》兩項電視現場直播選美活動，[12]但其後有見疫情一度緩和，則安排推展《2020年度香港小姐競選》賽事，並如往年在8月下旬舉行。
中国大陆
湖南广播电视台
疫情发生后，湖南卫视迅速对春节期间的节目编排作出了一系列调整，包括加开《抗击疫情特别时间》、取消播出《快乐大本营》、延后播出《少年说》、暂缓录制《歌手》等。2020年春节后，湖南卫视率先实践艺人各自居家录像或视频连线互动的「云录制」模式，推出了《嘿！你在干嘛呢？》和《天天云时间》两档全新综艺[13]。而原定于北京时间2月8日（农历正月十五）晚现场直播的《2020元宵喜乐会》也从主题、调性、内容、场地、演出阵容等方面作出了调整，并更名为《2020元宵一家亲》特别节目，营造同江同湖、同舟共济、众志成城、共克时艰的氛围，同时取消现场观众的设置，改为与芒果TV联合设置弹幕式观众席，演出阵容则以湖南卫视与芒果超媒旗下主持人、签约艺人为主[14][15]。2月13日，湖南卫视洪啸工作室宣布已进行两期的《歌手·当打之年》将以「云录制」的方式完成后续制作[16][17]。随后，《声临其境》[18][19]、《天天向上》以及《我家那闺女》的棚内部分亦同步跟进。2月15日，《快乐大本营》恢复播出，内容仍为春节前录制的节目库存。
随着中国大陆疫情的缓解，《歌手》、《快乐大本营》、《声临其境》等节目于2020年3月逐步恢复无观众现场录制，参与现场录制的节目嘉宾则全部为中国大陆艺人，后续则根据节目需要逐步向提供核酸检测阴性证明的观众开放现场录制。《天天向上》则在同期启动户外录制，直至《歌手》结束后恢复现场录制。
而在户外节目方面，原计划需到境外录制的芒果TV《妻子的浪漫旅行》第四季与湖南卫视《中餐厅》第四季受疫情影响均改为全程国内录制[20][21]。
在2022年12月之前，湖南卫视所有常态节目嘉宾、季播节目非常驻嘉宾及大型晚会嘉宾仍以中国大陆艺人为主，若出现涉台嘉宾的，则通常为定居中国大陆或在中国大陆有固定通告的台湾艺人。
網絡節目
愛奇藝的音樂綜藝節目《樂隊的夏天》由於樂隊晉級主要依靠現場樂迷投票，第二季亦較第一季延遲兩個月播出，被戲稱再不開播就要改叫「樂隊的秋天」[22]。而因疫情需求，連續多天演出的賽段中每天到場樂迷人數不固定，需變動賽程以減低總票數不一致對樂隊晉級的影響。
韓國
綜藝節目《Running Man》原定於2月前往歐洲進行拍攝，但當地因為疫情影響而改於韓國進行室內拍攝。其後亦都以室外空曠及人流較少的地方進行拍攝。
綜藝節目《叢林的法則》因為受肺炎疫情影響，節目組認為難以繼續進行海外拍攝，因而決定2020年6月6日新一集播映後無限期暫停所有拍攝工作[23]。其後於2020年8月29日恢復拍攝，但拍攝場地會於韓國國內全部進行。
受影響的作品
至2024年4月28日為止，許多電視節目宣布製作已被推遲或完全停止。[24]一些節目繼續製作，但沒有现场觀眾。 由於無法完成製作，其他節目將提前結束其播放季。
注意：某些非英語語言的節目是國際格式的改編版本，其英文專營權名稱稱為該名稱。例如，所有國際性的《誰都想成為百萬富翁？》將以該名稱以及他們的國家列出。此外，由於菲律賓廣播公司的廣播許可沒有在不相關的問題上得到更新，因此菲律賓ABS-CBN的所有節目從5月5日至6月13日被暫停。
