First of all, doing this was harder than usual: the views compiler was down, so we had to search manually for each page. Wikipedia isn't supposed to report the news, but there we were like a press room for a weekly magazine, seeking what happened in the last seven days. And we weren't wrong at all!

Dunkirk kept itself atop the box office, climbed to the top of our list, and led to two additional entries about the battle that inspired it (#3, #9). Film as a whole kept a strong foothold, as Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (#16) entered the list after one week in theaters, Spider-Man: Homecoming (#17) kept strong, an animated trainwreck would premiere (#21), and a biopic on Jeffrey Dahmer led the infamous serial killer to get views (#15). The deaths of Chester Bennington (#2, #8), John Heard (#14) and even Chris Cornell (#22) continue to resonate, and India saw the departure of Inder Kumar (#19) - and complementing that, the deaths in 2017 list (#7) continues to be here every week here since January. Television was more than just Game of Thrones (#4, #6, #24), with Netflix's Ozark and a TV special on Princess Diana (#25). Sports mark a presence with golf (#12) and fights of the real (#20) and staged variants (#13), and in regular news, the continued turnover of the Trump cabinet (#5, #23) plus rich people (#11). Finally, while Reddit didn't push something into the list, there was a Google Doodle-driven entry (#18).

4	Game of Thrones (season 7)		976.037		Episode 2 aired on Sunday. Expect fans of Jon Snow (portrayed by Kit Harington, seen left) & co. to keep this page on the ranking until September.
5	Anthony Scaramucci		932.968		Let's use the "Bohemian Rhapsody" joke right away: Scaramucci, scaramucci, he won't do the fandango! After all, he was dismissed as White House Communications Director after eleven days. Man, having to speak for the Trump administration is a risky job.
6	Game of Thrones		717.504		Up 3 from last week, see #4.
7	Deaths in 2017		716.138		Even with less views compared to last week, the death tally returns to the top 10. It has been on the Top 25 for seven months straight. Death and taxes are a certainty, after all.
8	Linkin Park		686.156		See #2.
9	Dunkirk Evacuation		643.900		The disastrous result of #3, as depicted in #1.
10	Ozark (TV series)		625.696		A new Netflix original series, where Jason Bateman (pictured) stars as a financial planner who runs with his family to the Ozarks.
11	Jeff Bezos		625.311		The Amazon.com founder was the world's richest man for one day, before the company's stocks fell and he returned to #2. But just like perennial #1 Bill Gates wants to make the world a better place with his fortune, Bezos certainly cares more about spending his $90 billion in nice endeavours, including flying men out of the world.
12	Jordan Spieth		561.844		This American golfer has won his third major title in the 2017 Open Championship, and he's just 24!
13	Battleground (2017)		507.091		WWE's latest pantomime was held at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center on Sunday.
14	John Heard (actor)		496.831		Best known for playing the father of the protagonist in Home Alone, Heard died at the age of 71 on July 22, leading to more views in the week that followed.
15	Jeffrey Dahmer		489.226		A trailer was released for My Friend Dahmer, the film adaptation of a graphic novel about the teenage years of the infamous "Milwaukee Cannibal" (as seen in the yearbook picture to the left).
16	Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets		471.547		Luc Besson's sci-fi comic adaptation starring Cara Delevingne (pictured) is the most expensive European film ever, and has so far underwhelmed in the box office.
17	Spider-Man: Homecoming		471.303		Down only one spot from last week, Spidey's latest film continues to be popular on this list.
18	Silent Parade		458.354		A Google Doodle celebrated the 100th anniversary of this protest, where 10,000 African Americans took the streets of New York.
19	Inder Kumar		436.091		Another death for the list, this time of an Indian actor who had a sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 43.
20	UFC 214		416.233		The latest MMA event was held on Saturday. Jon Jones (pictured) retained his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.
21	The Emoji Movie		414.443		Target of derision ever since its announcement, the animated flick did not disappoint the dissers: reviews have been so bad the film's consensus on Rotten Tomatoes is "🚫", and the $24.5 million opening weekend wasn't enough to remove Dunkirk (#1) from the top of the box office.
22	Chris Cornell		402.425		Chester Bennington (#2) was found dead on what would have been the birthday of Soundgarden's frontman (whose funeral he attended back in May), in the same manner of death. Quite a tragic occurrence.
23	John F. Kelly		392.204		The newest White House Chief of Staff, replacing Reince Priebus. One of his first actions was to fire Anthony Scaramucci (#5).
24	List of Game of Thrones episodes		385.913		See #4.
25	Diana, Princess of Wales		374.143		Lady Di, whose 20th anniversary of her death will be in August, was the subject of the documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, that aired on HBO and ITV on the 24th.
