Parima meespeaosatäitja Oscar
Ameerika Filmikunsti ja -teaduste Akadeemia iga-aastane auhind
Parima meespeaosatäitja Oscar (inglise keeles Academy Award for Best Actor) on Oscari-filmiauhinna üks kategooriatest. Auhinnaga tunnustab Ameerika Filmikunsti ja -teaduste Akadeemia meesnäitlejat, kes mängis peaosa filmis, mis esilinastus eelneval kalendriaastal (arvestatakse Los Angelese maakonna esilinastuse järgi). Auhinnatseremoonial annab auhinna võitjale üle traditsiooni kohaselt eelneva aasta parima naispeaosatäitja Oscari võitja.
Selles kategoorias auhinnatakse näitlejaid alates esimesest Oscari-tseremooniast 1929. aastal, kui võitis Emil Jannings rollide eest filmides "The Way of All Flesh" ja "The Last Command".[1]
2022. aasta seisuga on auhind antud 84 näitlejale. Daniel Day-Lewis on kolme Oscariga selle kategooria edukaim näitleja. Rekordilised üheksa korda on auhinnale nomineeritud Spencer Tracy ja Laurence Olivier. Peter O'Toole on enim nomineeritud näitleja, kes pole auhinda võitnud. James Dean on ainuke, keda on postuumselt nomineeritud rohkem kui korra. Peter Finch on ainuke postuumne võitja. Noorim võitja on Adrien Brody, keda autasustati 29-aastaselt rolli eest filmis "Pianist", ja Anthony Hopkins on vanim võitja, võitnud 83-aastaselt rolli eest filmis "Isa".[2]
